To move beyond traditional industrial beers —which are identified by their color rather than their style—this workshop invites you to taste exclusively craft beers of various styles, while learning what factors influence their taste and different flavors during the brewing process.

Workshop Outline:

• Introduction to the world of brewing: an overview of the major beer families and the differences between industrial and craft beers.
• Guided tasting: exploration of several styles of craft beers to discover the richness of their aromas and textures.
• Exploring the brewing process: explanations of the ingredients—yeast, malt, and hops—that shape the taste of each beer.
