Come and spend an immersive day with Thomas to create your own "plate sole" fixed knife from A to Z. As soon as you arrive, you'll be welcomed with a coffee to find out how the day will unfold.

Workshop schedule (8h):

• You'll start by drawing the shape of your knife according to your desires and technical criteria, to personalize your project.
• Next, you'll cut the steel sheet and learn how to machine the blade to the chosen shape, using the backstand.
• Then it's time for the heat treatment: under Thomas' guidance, you'll temper the blade in the forge to give it strength and resistance.
• After lunch, you'll take charge of shaping the wooden handle, which you'll adapt to the blade.
• You'll finalize your creation by assembling the handle, riveting the components and sharpening the blade. This will be your opportunity to master all the essential steps involved in handcrafting a knife.
