Have you always dreamed of becoming a Koh-Lanta or Mike Horn adventurer and developing your survival skills for an expedition? Eléonore and her team of instructors offer you a survival course in Ambérieu-en-Bugey, near Lyon.

Your Bushcraft course near Lyon

Duration: 2 days / 1 night - From age 16 - No special physical requirements

Your guide: you will be accompanied by Eléonore or a member of her team. The instructors have degrees in various specialties (AeM, high mountain guide, CQP hiking, BPJEPS, lifeguard) and are selected for their teaching qualities.

You will learn how to

  • How to make a survival bag
  • Choosing and building a bivouac site: knotting techniques,
  • Finding and filtering water
  • Build a fire in extreme conditions
  • Learn the basics of wild basketry, crumpling and carving.

This activity is ideal for budding adventurers or those wishing to test their limits.

How to get there:
- By car: 45 mn from Lyon via A42

Know before you go

  • Provide freeze-dried meals for Saturday and Sunday lunch.
  • Saturday evening meal provided.
  • Equipment to bring: rucksack, gloves, comforters, seasonal clothing, hiking or trail shoes, opinel knife, headlamp, cup, plate, cutlery, water, rubbish bag.
  • Recommended equipment: spare pair of socks, survival blanket, first-aid kit (mosquito repellent, sun cream), ground sheet/mattress.
  • Equipment supplied: 3x3m tarpaulin, hammock, ropes, saws, firesteel, Canadian hatchet, sisal rope for construction.
