Cooking classes with the Ferrandi school at Galeries Lafayette

Learn to cook alongside the best by booking the "Les Secrets de Chefs" workshop offered by Galeries Lafayette. At their famous location at 35 Boulevard Haussmann in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, you’ll spend 1.5 hours preparing your dish from start to finish.

Course schedule (2:00–2:30 PM):

• Welcome, introduction, and tour of the kitchen.
• You’ll then head to the stove and follow your chef’s guidance to prepare your recipe.
• Complete the various preparation steps in a friendly group of no more than 6 people and enjoy close interaction with your chef.
• You’ll discover many tips you can use in your daily cooking to ensure your dishes are always irresistible.
• Finally, you’ll take your creation home to enjoy with your family or loved ones.

  Wednesday: Forest Risotto
  Friday: Duck, pumpkin, and chestnut parmentier
  Saturday: Forest risotto
• From April 1 through June 27:
  Wednesday: Quiche Lorraine, mixed greens salad, and seasonal vegetables
  Friday: Paella-style risotto
  Saturday: Quiche Lorraine, mixed greens salad, and seasonal vegetables
• From July 1 through July 31 and from September 1 through September 30:
  Wednesday: Duck breast, roasted figs, and pan drippings
  Friday: Fillet of gilthead sea bream and ratatouille
  Saturday: Duck breast, roasted figs, and pan drippings
• From October 2 through December 30:
  Wednesday: Chicken coq au vin, pilaf rice, and glazed vegetables
  Friday: Winter butternut squash risotto
  Saturday: Chicken à la coq au vin, pilaf rice, and glazed vegetables
