Immerse yourself in the world of coffee with the Caféologie and Espressologie workshop! This workshop invites you to explore coffee in all its facets, from plant to cup, through a theoretical and practical approach.

Course of the activity (2h30):

This workshop is divided into three complementary acts:

• You'll start with an introduction to the world of coffee (30min), including the history of the plant, the appearance of aromas, the discovery of caffeine, the spread of coffee across cultures, and the birth of specialty coffees. You'll also learn about the different professions involved in coffee-making, in particular that of the barista, as well as artisanal roasting and respect for aromas.
• The second part is devoted to caffeology (30min), where you'll learn how to taste original coffees, visually, olfactory and gustatory. You'll be cupping with a spoon on a scoring grid to understand and express aromatic profiles, and discover the basics of coffee sommellerie.
• Finally, you'll move on toespressology (90min), exploring the barista's craft, setting the grinder, extracting a perfect espresso, basic milk assembly techniques and the first notions of latte art.
