Join Tony for an introduction to beer brewing! As a passionate beer enthusiast, he’ll guide you through the different stages of making beer, from selecting the ingredients to starting the fermentation process.

Workshop itinerary:

• Introduction to brewing equipment and ingredients, including a presentation of essential tools and a tasting of malts and hops to understand their role in the recipe.
• Group activity covering the different stages of brewing: mashing, boiling, hopping, cooling, and fermentation, with Tony providing explanations at each step.
• Guided tasting of craft and local beers, brewed in Marseille and the surrounding area, to explore different styles and illustrate the possibilities offered by craft brewing.
• Explore the history of beer and brewing culture, from its Sumerian origins to the rise of craft beer in France, including the major European traditions.

Please note: You will not take home the beer brewed during the workshop, as it requires additional monitoring and logistics for fermentation.
