The chef warmly welcomes you to her studio in Paris’s 14th arrondissement. She’ll guide you through making a rolled chocolate Yule log with rocher frosting. This will be your chance to learn some fundamental techniques that are essential in pastry making.

Course Outline (2 hours):

• Introduction to the fundamentals of pastry making and the techniques specific to today’s recipe.
• Preparation of a moist rolled sponge cake, making a chocolate ganache, rolling techniques, and finishing with a crispy “rocher” glaze.
• At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home their own chocolate Yule log to enjoy or share during the holidays.
