Bordeaux wine tasting workshop with refined food pairings

In our workshop in the heart of Bordeaux, come and discover with our sommelier the art of wine tasting and food & wine pairing, in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

This participative workshop will give you the opportunity to interact, ask questions and share your experience in complete freedom.

Course of the workshop (1h) :

• Introduction to terroirs, grape varieties, appellations and the history of wine in Bordeaux.
• Then you'll learn the different stages and art of wine tasting.
• Our sommelier will then introduce you to the 3 main principles of successful wine and food pairing.
• Then it's time to get hands-on with 3 great Bordeaux wines and 3 local artisanal dishes (sturgeon rillettes with French caviar, artisanal dried duck breast, and farmhouse blue cheese).

Let yourself be surprised by the alchemy that can occur between food and wine. You'll see that, beyond general principles, a good pairing involves curiosity and even daring, and must allow each element to be individually sublimated while creating harmony.
