Arc welding workshop level 2: the stool in Paris 18ème

Nadine and François welcome you to their workshop in the 18th arrondissement of Paris for a level 2 arc welding workshop. A refresher course for those who already know how to arc weld! Whether you've taken the introductory course at the workshop or you're just a little experienced in welding, you've no doubt noticed that it's not that easy to make a nice, even bead? To guide your progress, you'll try your hand at making a simple but demanding object: a stool.

Workshop schedule (2h30):

• Presentation and reminder of safety rules and protective equipment, check participants' level of practice. Then it's off to work!
• Arc welding with coated electrodes (or MMA welding). The welding machine delivers an electric current, and the arc that forms between the poles causes the metal to heat up and the electrode to melt.
• Cutting metal sections with a band saw and grinder.

The aim of this workshop is to deepen your practice and move towards more regular, more efficient gestures, and to be able to produce reliable assemblies.
