Activity description :

Would you like to learn how to weld, but don't know where to start? Then come and learn from professionals in the field, who will be delighted to pass on their knowledge to you for the duration of the course! Using semi-automatic equipment, you'll learn the basics and create a decorative object to take home!

What is TIG or MIG welding? These are arc welding processes using a non-fusible electrode. The difference between these two processes is that MIG welding is faster. TIG welding is slower, but gives a more robust, precise and aesthetic result.

What is MMA welding? It's a coated-electrode arc welding technique. It's the most widely used technique in the welding world!

Course schedule (2 days) :

  • First day: health, safety and environmental awareness. Your instructors will explain the risks involved in welding, introduce you to the equipment and provide you with protective gear. You'll make your first welds using the techniques you've chosen.
  • Day 2: You'll continue to experiment with different welding techniques.
  • You'll then be able to make a decorative object (the pro will present you with a list of what you can create).
  • At the end of the course, you'll be given a booklet reminding you of the two-day course.

This introductory welding course is ideal if you want to learn the basics! What's more, you'll get to create a decorative object with your own hands!
