Activity description :

Discover copper working with Rémi, a passionate craftsman and France's Best Apprentice. In this 3h30 workshop, you'll be immersed in a world of materials, and given the opportunity to work with copper to create your own magnificent birdhouse! During this immersive and creative workshop, you'll plunge into a world of materials and try to awaken the craftsman in you!

Course of the activity (3h30) :

• Discover the craftsman and his know-how.
• First contact with materials: Cutting wood with a hand saw (or circular saw).
• Cutting copper with a hacksaw or shears.
• Choice of 3nesting box models .
• Prepare the material, clean up any burrs, then use a blowtorch to shape the metal.
• Assemble the nesting box and add a small copper chimney for soldering.
• You'll leave with a nesting box that will welcome small birds all year round.

Suitable for all levels of craftsmanship, this metal workshop with arts and crafts will be an opportunity to work with copper. Come as a little bird and leave proud as a peacock with your superb nesting box!
